SB 111 -- PHYSICALLY DISABLED LICENSE PLATES SPONSOR: Gross (Ostmann) COMMITTEE ACTION: Voted "do pass by consent" by the Committee on Motor Vehicles and Traffic Regulations by a vote of 9 to 0. This bill allows the Director of the Department of Revenue to enter into a reciprocity agreement with the federal government for the purpose of recognizing license plates for disabled persons. FISCAL NOTE: No impact on state funds. PROPONENTS: Supporters say the bill allows for reciprocity with the federal government to recognize Missouri's disabled license plate. Such reciprocity is already permitted with other states. Testifying for the bill was Senator Gross. OPPONENTS: There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
